fracturing water treatment demo
The winner of OG&PE / OGPE.com’s EquipPix Photo Contest is
OriginOil’s CLEAN-FRAC 1000 frac water treatment system.
Congratulations to OriginOil and thanks to all entrants and voters in this competition. Our other
20 photo contest winners are
showcased on Pages 12-13.
CLEAN-FRAC is an Integrated Electro-Coagulation, Electro-Oxi-dation, and Electro-Flotation produced and frac flowback water
treatment. It’s shown here in demonstration-scale — as it successfully removes oil and contaminants from up to 1,000 b/d flowback
water. The system has third-party-tested for 99.9% dispersed oil reduction; 99.5% suspended solids reduction. It is fed
directly from an upfront oil-water separator or skim
tank to remove emulsified oil and suspended solids
fraction of a produced water stream.
