The outdoor broadband oil well pad communi-
cations hub is for all cycle phases from lease to
production. With it you can own a single wireless
network for all communications needs through-
out a well’s pad life cycle, notes the manufacturer.
Communication networks based on Tropos
6420-XA reduce operational expenses, help maximize oil production efficiency, enhance environmental and worker safety, plus support high resolution data for improved operational business and

Offered to eliminate the need to procure communication services, the mesh router also integrates traditional communications devices including serial masters, wireless I/O devices, and
narrowband SCADA radios — into a modern wireless communication netowrk.
The mesh router’s 802.11 wireless and
10/100/1000BASE-T wired interfaces provide connectivity for well pad equipment. Its serial interfaces support connections to legacy equipment.
Models utilize capabilities of the 802.11a/b/g/n
family of wireless standards to deliver 600 Mbps
total wireless data rate, 300 Mbps at 2. 4 GHz, and
another 3200 Mbps at 5 GHz.

Data collecting unmanned
aerial vehicles for oil, gas

Red Eye 2G water-cut meters work with
varying salinity levels, a wide range of water-cut levels, and entrained gas.
Models ignore changes in salinity to provide accurate measurements from 0 to 100%
water-cut levels and to handle up to 20%
gas volume fractions. They work in full
three-phase flow (oil, water, gas) as multiphase meters to measure relative water and oil concentrations in streams
with up to 99.5% GVF. Red eye also is able to differentiate methanol or
